'Survivor' producer arrested

                                                                                                       By Amber Dowling

Bruce Beresford-Redman charged with murder
Earlier this week, former Survivor producer and Pimp My Ride creator Bruce Beresford-Redman and
his wife, Monica Beresford-Redman, were staying at the Moon Palace in Cancun, Mexico, with their two children. The couple had fled to the sand and beaches in hopes of reconciling their marriage and bonding as a family after going through some tough times.

But paradise went wrong when Bruce reported his wife missing on Monday evening, claiming she had gone shopping downtown, and never returned.

Believing the story, Monica's sister Jeane Burgos went to join Bruce in the search yesterday, and to help take care of the children. The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department were also informed, and filed a missing persons report. Detectives contacted the U.S. State Department and the embassy in Cancun to ensure they were aware a woman has gone missing.
This afternoon Monica's lifeless body was found in some mangroves near the hotel, strangled and beaten. Bruce, who had cuts and bruises on his arms, has been arrested and charged. According to local authorities the couple had been seen arguing Monday night in the hotel grounds. It has also come out that the children are missing.

Bruce's agent has not offered comment. So far the husband is the sole suspect.
